This tastefully renovated cottage sleeps up to 4, Set in beautiful surroundings, with magnificent views of the Howe o’ the Mearns on your doorstep, and great attractions to visit all nearby. This quality cottage is situated on the grounds of The Sauchieburn Hotel and to the North the Grampian Hills landscape is a spectacle outstanding natural beauty. Whether you want a quiet, relaxing holiday, a base for touring the east Coast of Scotland or to enjoy outdoor activities it's all here for you. Forest walks, golfing, fishing, shooting, bird watching, distilleries or castles are just some of the local attractions available on your doorstep. Views from the sun lounge are amazing. The Grampian Hills provide an amazing backdrop in summer or winter, forest glens and rivers just a stones throw away. Nearby at the top of the Cairn O'Mount on a clear day you can see as far as St. Andrews & Leith. The Cottage is located nearby Laurencekirk village which has a shops & post office. Situated on the coast is Montrose where you will find a good variety of shops, cafes, restaurants and entertainments. Electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are included in the weekly rate. Description of Stable Cottage : The cottage sleeps up to four. It has been recently modernised and is furnished tastefully throughout. Bed linen and towels are provided for your comfort. Heating is by oil-fired central heating. A fully fitted kitchen is well-equipped with oven, hob, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and Fridge/Freezer. The Kitchen has an open plan breakfast / dining area. The living dining area is comfortable with two sofas and coffee table. TV if you have time to watch - is available with DVD player. Prices include the provision of continental breakfast. Sorry no smoking or pets are allowed in the cottage.
